Project Overview
Bolton Council commissioned electrical infrastructure upgrades at the Wellspring Building to support increased capacity and resilience of supply. The project involved the installation of a new 800A power supply, new switched fused isolators, a 1250A main switchboard, heavy-duty containment systems, and new high-capacity cabling.
Scope of Works
- Installation of new 800A switched fused isolators
- Installation of new 1250A main switchboard for improved distribution capacity
- Installation of heavy-duty ladder rack containment system
- Supply and installation of 400mm² AWA armoured cables
- Termination of all high-capacity power cables to isolators and switchboard
- Testing, commissioning, and certification of the new supply system
